LG Electronics has developed what is said to be the world’s first Watch Phone capable of 3G VT Service and GSM Quadband Network. It supports GSM Quad 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network bandwidth, WCDMA Single and HSDPA 7.2 network. The watch phone also supports an interface with capacitive touch, and applies wireless technology that is merged into its compact form factor. The LG GD910 Watch Phone supports TTS (SMS, Schedule), Voice Command, a speakerphone and is a water resistant device (IPX4 standard). With its 1.43 inch tempered glass touchscreen, this wrist phone – less than 14mm thick – which comes with a fastening strap features a world clock and stopwatch as well. This device is worn as a watch and allows the user to call, send and receive SMS, make video calls and be contacted at any time. Bluetooth technology allows users to pair the device with an earpiece for hands free (literally) use. It features LG’s advanced voice recognition and synthesis technologies, which are particularly useful when on the move. The GD910 has a Call key, which doubles as menu button in most menus, the Clear/Back button and the End key. These keys are on the right side of the phone. The watch also supports various homescreens. There is a number of different dials to pick from with some capable of displaying two time zones at the same time. Users simply flick up or down to toggle between the available dials. The Contacts list of LG GD910 has room for up to 1000 contacts in the handset’s memory and allows storing information on contacts which can be organized into caller groups, as well as assign a picture and a ringtone to each individuals. The LG GD910 also supports personal information management functions such as a to-do list, calendar, text notes, memo, voice recording, calculator, World Clock and an alarm clock.

The GD910 measures 49 x 39 x 13.8 mm. The wrist phone is powered by a 510 mAh battery.

Advanced Features
The GD910 also features 64 MIDI (polyphonic) ringtones, a VGA camera, 2 GB of internal memory, MP3 playback, diary, Dictaphone, Flight mode and Bluetooth® 2.0 technology.
