Sharp JD-7C1CL/CW

The Sharp JD-7C1CL/CW is a cordless phone that features a color LCD touch panel which can be used to view images just like a photo frame. The unit features a 7 inch display in a simple form factor that showcases navigation buttons. It supports a photo phone book, memory card slot, slideshow (functioning as a digital picture frame) and is equipped with fax capabilities. When the phone is on standby, the unit can be used as a digital photo frame. The memory card stores favourite photos, and users can activate a Photo Slide show by inserting it into the slot Users can transfer photos wirelessly to and from the photos frame from a mobile phone or digital camera via its IrSS™ high speed infrared-enabled function. It also features a calendar and clock display that can be combined with favourite photos. The unit has an internal 128 MB memory storage capacity as well. The Sharp JD-7C1CL/CW supports image files in JPEG format. Another feature on the Sharp JD-7C1CL/CW is its fax capabilities. The unit can be used to receive incoming faxes. Users can view them on its screen and by touching the screen; they can scroll down the fax display. The fax received can then be transfer to a PC via memory cards to be printed. Other features on the Sharp JD-7C1CL/CW includes a voice prompt that notifies the users of the name of the person calling in, approximately up to 15 minutes of voice recording capabilities, and ability to reject prank calls with three types of function. The Sharp JD-7C1CL/CW comes in a choice of white and black colors and is available in September 2009.

This provides the users up to 200 hours of standby time and 6 hours of call time (on a 10 hour charge time). The handset’s power consumption is 0.6W on standby and 0.9W on charge.

The Sharp JD-7C1CL/CW main body measures 216 mm × 109 mm × 144 mm (excluding protrusions) and weighs approximately 540 g (AC Adapter not included). The handset measures 48 x 31 x 177 mm (weighs 150 g) while the charger unit measures 93 x 76 x 27 mm (and weighs 130 g).
