In an attempt to step up its game, Apple has launched a new member in its LED Cinema Display series from which the last model was a 24-inch display. The new 27-inch display features a resolution of 2560 x 1440. It comes with an aspect ratio of 16:9. This display might suit those who are Apple fans and for those who are looking for something bigger and better to watch their media files on.

Apple will sell the new 27-inch display for $999. Though, it might sound pricey to some, rumor has it that Dell has a similar display selling for $100 more than the Apple price.

This 27-inch display comes with a built-in iSight camera that can be used as a webcam. It also comes with a USB powered hub with three ports. The new Apple 27-inch LED Cinema Display will be available in September at the price of $999.
