Seems like news surrounding the iPad is never going to go away even when the limelight is actually on Apple’s iPhone 4 antenna problems. The latest news surrounding the iPad is that Apple might just release smaller versions of the tablet later this year. By smaller, the OLED screen sizes will measure 5.6-inch and 7-inch. Reports suggest that Apple might just release the smaller iPads later this year or early next year.
It is a known fact that the Apple iPad is a huge selling success and Apple apparently wants to make it even successful by launching mini iPads. This news started doing the internet rounds when a Taiwanese-based component manufacturer claimed that the giant American company has placed orders for 5.6-inch, 7-inch and 9.7-inch iPad models. We all know that the current Apple iPads don’t come in these sizes so it has been assumed that Apple is secretly manufacturing mini iPads. We would only know for sure when Apple makes a formal and official announcement.
