Last week was a good week for Asus when they won a couple of awards for their products. This week, Asus reveals their new motherboard, which is a new AMD-powered model, in their range of Republic of Gamers (ROG) motherboards. The board features the ‘Core Unlocker’ technology which knows how to handle its red and black color scheme combined with its dominating cooling solution.
It comes with an onboard audio consisting of an EAX 4.0 compliant SupremeFX X-Fi solution. It also has supports for SATA 6GB/s and USB 3.0 technologies which will indefinitely help your device to have a good speed. There’s also Asus very own ROG Connect wizardry in this motherboard. Not forgetting the support for AM3 Phenom II CPUs. With the four DIMM slots featured, the board can house up to 16GB of DDR3 memory.
Asus also added in this motherboard their very first ‘GameFirst’ feature which Asus claimed will definitely help to enhance the solution’s networking pipeline to prioritise bandwidth, thereby eliminating the bane of an online gamer. The Asus Crosshair IV Formula will be released with Asus’ latest version of Turbo Key II ‘auto tuning routine’. Asus has yet to release a release date and price for this motherboard.
