
LG has recently revealed it wants its LCD TV sales to go up after the manufacturer decided to drop its prices on LCD TVs. LG Electronics is hoping that by next year, the company will have an improved sales of its LCD TVs. The reason is that the brand has reduced its prices for LCD TVs, which is why LG is sincerely hoping its sales would definitely improve by at least 40% next year.
LG Electronics is no stranger to the world of electronics. As a matter of fact, it is the world’s second biggest manufacturer of liquid-crystal-display televisions. The number that LG is aiming for here is about 35 million LCD TVs to be sold until 2011. For this year alone, the company is hoping for a nice 25 million sets to be sold. For its plasma TVs, LG is hoping to score a sale of 40 million sets by next year. This year alone, LG will be selling about 29 million plasma TVs. Let’s hope LG’s wishes come true.
