More monitors coming from LG and this time, they are ultra-slim LCD monitors from the new EX-series. These monitors offer LED backlighting, a 5ms response time and a 1,500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Rumor has it that they also offer HDMI connectivity. LG is a brand that has also been vocal about caring for the environment and this time with these new monitors, it’s no different. It is said that with their LED technology, they managed to bring up 40% energy savings.
These EX-series monitors come with a really thin bezel that measures about 17.5mm (in thickness) and we don’t mind saying that this is the main attraction of these monitors. Models from the EX-series are EX205 (20-inch), EX225 (21.5-inch) and EX235 (23-inch). By the looks of it, these monitors would look really good as desktops and we have no doubt how attractive it will look on the desk as well. It will obviously be released first in Korea and then to the rest of the world. We can’t wait to see how these monitors will perform.
