Panasonic unveils 3DTV with Blu-ray/HDD storage

Panasonic seems to be doing the news rounds these days. With the 3D consumer camcorder being leaked, Panasonic is taking it better now as the brand has recently announced two new 3D high-definition TVs that come with a 3D Blu-ray player and hard drive for additional storage.

The new Panasonic RT2B-series consist of 42-inch and 46-inch screens 3D high-definition TV. Both of these two TVs come with a 500GB HDD for recorded storage. That is definitely something that consumers look for. First the 3D technology and now additional storage space to keep their favorite media files. On the TV, owners will be able to make free voice and video calls to both nationwide and international contacts with the built-in Skype application in the TV set.

Owners of these TV sets will be able to record and play 3D video on them. The owners will also have to wear active-shutter glasses to watch the new 3DTVs. The 42-inch Panasonic 3D TV will be sold at $4,487 while the 46-inch will be at $5,060. Both 3D TVs will be launched on August 27 in Japan.
