Great news for all those heavily involved in making and saving the world by going green; Philips has just introduced its greenest TV, the Philips Econova 42PFL6805. Yes, as the model’s name suggested “Econova”, this LED TV is an Eco-based television set. Philips introduced the LED TV Econova in Europe where the television was given the honor of being the most environmentally friendly TV in Europe 2010-2011. The latter is so as the TV managed to reached a record low consisting of 40 watts in eco-mode when tested by the Judicial Committee of the EISA.

The LED TV Econova from Philips measures 42-inch under the model 42PFL6805. It goes even greener with its remote control for solar that comes together with the LED TV Econova. The TV comes in an advanced eco-design and moreover, it comes with a remote control that is charged by solar energy, which reminds us of the old calculators. The Philips Econova 42PFL6805 will be released in Europe later this month.
