Sony finally releases a solution for those who have a full hard drive on their ps3, the PS3 External Hard Drive. This official licensed external HDD is by Buffalo and carries the look of the usual USB portable drives. It shouldn’t feel any different. Memory capacity on the drive is 500GB so there won’t be any future worries on whether the hard drive is full or not. Buffalo is offering two hard drives which are the normal hard drive and the stylish hard drive. Prices for these external hard drives too differ with the stylish HD being $168 and the other one is $130. These external hard drives are officially from Sony but there are other options around, in case you find the price a bit too much. Bottom line is a branded and official device is slightly different from just any external HDDs out there. One of these drives is actually already on sale in North America. The external HDDs will be released later on in March together with the Torne DVR adapter release.
