It’s that time of the year again, the time of the year when companies announce their second quarter financial results. Today we have SanDisk who recently revealed their financial results for the first half of 2010.
It’s no surprise that SanDiskCorporation manufactures flash memory cards and the company claims that its second quarter revenue increased 61% on a year-over-year basis which makes it to a total of $1.18 billion. The company released a number of flash drives and memory cards earlier this year and sales proved how much of a success they were.
CEO of SanDisk was quoted saying that the company had an excellent quarter, with OEM demand driving record unit and gigabytes sold. The brand received a 47% total gross margin, due to cost reductions and a stable pricing environment. The company is certainly hoping that the rest of the year goes on fine for them and profits come their way.
