
Sony unveiled its new 3D Blu-ray recorders that will be released soon in stores. The brand has taken the 3D-craze into a whole new level with these new 3D Blu-ray recorders. The special feature of these new models is that these 3D Blu-ray recorders support the BDXL format, which is the disc available with a capacity of 100GB.
Sony promotes the new 3D Blu-ray recorders as fast players with an even faster startup time and time to play the discs inserted. As much as these new 3D Blu-ray recorders sound intriguing, they don’t come cheap. Sony has listed the cheapest one as a $1,060 3D Blu-Ray player that comes with a 500GB HDD, and features AVC support and a digital TV tuner.
The rest of the 3D Blu-ray recorders feature and are priced at 320GB ($1,120), 500GB ($1,500) and 1TB ($1,770). These models also come with two digital TV tuners, and not forgetting DLNA support. Sony will be releasing these new 3D Blu-ray recorders on October 22 in Japan.
